*Terms and conditions
  • All policy documents available for scrutiny on request. All our staff are DBS checked, fully qualified and suitably trained. The Secret Garden at Ottery St Mary holds an appropriate insurance policy which covers the activities offered including camp fires and animals on site. Children are required to follow our rules at all times to ensure their safety and the safety of others. There is always some 'downtime' offered when the children can rest and choose from a number of activities should weather/situation require it.
  • Please try to honour all bookings and let us know as soon as you can if your  circumstances/requirements change.
  • Most parents like to make arrangements for their children well in advance of the holidays. Because of this, we find it hard to fill cancelled places close to the holiday. It is always sad when days are full up, and parents have to make alternative arrangements, which they are unable to change should a space come up here due to a cancellation. This is why we have our cancellation policy which is below:
  • All bookings are binding and places must be paid for by due date indicated on invoice. I regret that we are unable to refund should your child cancel on the day or once the holiday has commenced, whatever the reason. If you cancel before the start of the holiday  we will try to fill the places but if we can't then we will not be able to refund. Regular cancellations will affect your ability to book in the future.  Unpaid bills will be  pursued    in the event of a 'no show' or late cancellation.
  • We recommend booking more than 3 weeks before the start of the holiday because we fill up fast. We are very busy organizing the holiday in the 2 weeks running up to it. This is why we are unable to guarantee having time to advertise and fill cancelled places. Once the holiday commences it becomes very difficult to concentrate on anything apart from the children in our care, so we like to get the admin and payments all done beforehand.
  • Please advise of any allergies in your email, and bring your registration form with you , filled in in advance especially if you are arriving after 9.30 am :)
  • Preferred payment is via bank transfer before the end of term. Cash payment is available once the holiday begins, and is required in full on the first day you visit us. If you want to use paypal please follow instructions on invoice. Please note, if payment is late, whether arranged or not, our rules about refunds and cancellations still apply
  • And finally! We lock the house and often will be in the beautiful garden running about and making plenty of noise, so please try  not  to come early. We always send someone to let you in at the time you book to arrive - we might not hear you at the door if you come earlier than expected - but that's because we'll be having so much FUN!! :)
